All roads lead to UX
With over twenty years in the service industry I’ve learned a lot. Like, the customer may not always be right but if you don’t listen to them, you’d be a fool. I’ve spent years listening to my customers, continuously tweaking, making changes in hopes of creating positive and meaningful user experiences. Before being schooled in UX methods and terminologies, it was the techniques that I used to stay at the top of my field for so long.
My jobs and goals changed over the years. One thing that hasn't changed is my drive to make things better. Whether it’s dealing with the processes that we use in our daily jobs or designing better interfaces. Never forgetting that there is a user at the centre of every design. Looking back, my experiences in my previous career has only prepared me more for what lies on the road ahead.
The future looks bright. With my experience in the service industry as my base and the UX methods now in my toolbox. I'm now prepared to create interesting, accessible and valuable user experiences.
